Swarm #
A time travel game using the no longer available Seedless Bloom hack of the no longer available C°ntinuum RPG. Set largely in the locality of 20th century rural Australia, a century before the mass contamination incident.
Cast #
- Guile is a spanner of indeterminant origin. His speech is a blur of american accents, stereotypes and general gibberish. His faction is the midwives and the mentor of the players.
- Robert is a early 20th first century span 2. He is a member of the engineers, and has modded his spantech to allow greater magnitudes of spanning.
- William Robinson King.Jr is a englishman from london in the late victorian era. His studies in mechanics led to his capture by narcassists to work on a train in the scorpoid period. His rescue was by Guile was also his invitation.
- Werner is a german from the great war. He attacked an addled narcassist at his invitation. The world wars happen to be no place for a novice spanner so Guile took him into his corner.
- Igma is an ancient eskimo. Like Werner, he also attacked a trespassing narcassist under time combat, resulting in his Australian corner.
- Wax is a punk from the era of hard rock in the US. His invitation occured whilst under the influence
- Hannah is guile's mentor.
The Story So Far #
Episode 1: #
Igma and Werner have the pricipals of spanning explained in India. Both experiment, with Igma wandering across the same two hours while Werner asked for introduction to the local corner where he aged six months learning the culture and language.
Episode 2: #
Werner and Igma watch Wax’s invitation then recieve a request from span 4 Hannah. They are to track a stranded dutch sailor across across uncolonised Australia. They spend a few months in the 60s learning how to survive the land from impoverished aboriginals then continue spanning down then track the poor sod as he desperately traces the coast north.
They stumble upon a fragged site and slipshank a message back to Guile, who in turn calls in a cleanup crew. Citing maxim 1 they never learnt what the source was, instead continuing to follow the dutchman. Arrival and servitude in Sydney are all that his life brings. They bring this message back to a disappointed Hannah who must rethink her strategy in the greatest game.
Episode 3: #
William Robinson King.Jr is told that he has a decade of unfulfilled yet as a leveller in London. To this end they Guile enlists Robert as transportation and Werner as company, taking them back down the day William Robinson King.Jr was kidnapped. Unfortunately they overshoot, arriving days too early and meet the narcassists prior to the kidnapping. This frags William Robinson King.Jr and the first stroke of a time combat frags Werner. They flee to Robert, who nonchalantly detonates a small cottage as part of a distraction to span them into a rendevouz were hey prepare for the ongoing time combat across the locality.
